Hi! I'm Lisa Malkin - an Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer based in Staffordshire, UK. I studied Contemporary Art Practice at Staffordshire University and I am now a full time freelance Artist. I am primarily digital based but my love of all things intricate and time consuming occasionally creeps into my work, usually in the form of collage and embroidery!

I'm a Gemini, a cat parent and a collector of curiosities such as crystals and books. When I'm not doodling away I can usually be found scavenging for sea glass and treasure on the Welsh coast or snuggled under a blanket drinking coffee. My other hobbies include buying (and killing) plants and permanently waiting until it is socially acceptable to put the Christmas tree up.

 

I currently sell on Red Bubble, Society 6 and Etsy but my work is also available for licensing and I'm super excited about working with brands and companies, so for more information on licensing any of my designs please feel free to get in touch.

I have previously exhibited my work in local galleries and Art retailers and I currently sell some of my work in Made Here in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
